Exactly, it's a progression and now there will be a car in the game from quite a large manufacturer, onwards to domination!

Be happy that VW will allow the devs to use it in the game as well, maybe in future something else will get added.

I think I might get S1 license sometime soon, so just out of curiosity checked what tracks and cars you'd exactly get for 12 quid.

6 new additional cars and 2 new tracks! While S2 would give you an additional 11 cars and 3 tracks

6 and 11, that's quite a poor balance?

In s2 you'd pay around 90p for a single car and in S1 it would be whopping 2 pounds each!

Just saying that the balance is a bit off

Well :-) That's very true, but it would be like EuroNCAP where they aren't forced to give away their car, but if it comes out to be good it gains a big advantage and benefits from it

Scirocco looks pretty interesting.

Had same problem with my old laptop, but it was pointless anyway since it had a terrible intergrated graphics card and managed to do only around 18-22 fps on lowest graphics, without mirrors etc so had to drive with force on most of the time.

Problem was solved by getting this baby!!! Oh yeah :}

It would be awesome to see a real VW in LFS, and even better if they allowed scawen to use vw golf in the game too after realising how great the sim is :-}

Now clever people, could someone explain to me why car brands do not give away their cars for LFS sim? If the car's good and people enjoy it, why not? It'd be just better for it... Or wouldn't it?

Dya realise that you have a better control over throtle and brakes if you're using wheel rather than kayboard and mouse?

Yes you can move the wheel quicker with mouse but with acceleration you have only one option - Pedal to the metal and that ain't good with fast cars.

Stop whining like a baby about losing to mouse drivers. After all it's about having fun and enjoying yourself rather than being number one all the time, and if all you have in mind is 1st place and getting beat up by better drivers is a bad thing then shoot yourself >_<

Ehm... just tried the free cars today, they look a lot nicer and more realistic from inside I think except there's one problem, at least to me.

It was always nice to have the center line of wheel in the actual center rather than ... a bit off it.

Like Highlighted in the picture, or am I blind.
